The Embassy of Taiwan (Republic of China) in Haiti, informs that registrations for the scholarship program entitled "MOFA Taiwan Scholarship Program" and that of "ICDF International High Education Scholarship Program" for the year 2023 have been open since on January 3, 2023.

These two scholarship programs are offered to promote exchanges between the youth of the two countries and to encourage higher education. Young Haitians wishing to pursue their higher education in Taiwan are invited to apply for one of the programs of their choice.

It should be noted that from 2004 to 2022 more than 200 Haitian students have benefited from Taiwan/ICDF scholarships, which not only offer full funding for scholarship recipients, but also social insurance coverage on the same scale as Taiwanese during their stays in Taiwan.

The "MOFA Taiwan Scholarship Program" will be taught mainly in Mandarin, of which a first year of learning is an integral part of the program,

Applicants must submit their application before February 15, 2023 to the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), located at #22, Rue Lucien Hubert, Morne Calvaire, Pétion-Ville, in an envelope indicating MOFA Taiwan Scholarship Program Application

The ICDF International High Education Scholarship Program will be taught primarily in English.

Applicants must submit their application before February 15, 2023 to the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan), located at #22, Rue Lucien Hubert, Morne Calvaire, Pétion-Ville, in an envelope indicating Application for an "ICDF INTERNATIONAL HIGHER EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM" scholarship.

For the 2 programs, the candidates selected for the pre-selection will be informed by e-mail or by telephone before February 28, 2023 to participate in a written and oral examination later. Candidates selected for the final selection will be informed in early July 2023.
