Haiti - FLASH : Conditional stay program, Haitians leave the country by hundred every day for USA

At Toussaint Louverture International Airport, more than a hundred compatriots fly to the United States every day, as part of the Biden administration's "Humanitarian Parole" conditional stay program, to live "the American dream" for 2 years...

To avoid fraudsters, the airlines confirm the file of each person concerned by American immigration.

Note that several thousand Haitians have already arrived in the USA as part of this program https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-38721-haiti-flash-more-than-2-000-haitians-already-approved-in-the-new-american-migration-program.html

Let's recall that the conditional stay program offers 30,000 permits each month for citizens of Venezuela, Cuba, Nicaragua and Haiti. No quota requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.

In addition, the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Communities, with a view to optimizing the operation and technical capacities of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE) to respond as well as possible in the current situation, to the requests constantly increasing number of passports calls on applicants for calm, restraint, discipline and full respect for the process for obtaining their document and also deplores the multiple disturbances recorded at the level of the access areas of the DIE centers of the metropolitan area.

On the other hand, the Ministry of the Interior and Territorial Collectivities will not tolerate any deviation or internal disturbance. Also any abuse or scam, by ill-intentioned people, to the detriment of honest citizens will be punished with the utmost rigor, under the law.

In addition, the Ministry reminds agents of the National Police that since February 9, 2023 they are invited to submit their request for travel documents at the premises of the Delmas 33 Police Station. A space has been equipped and is dedicated to receiving their requests for passports as well as those of their family members duly identified as such.
