iciHaiti - Health : Health decentralization and accessibility of health care in hard-to-reach areas

To strengthen health decentralization and make health care accessible in hard-to-reach areas, the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP), through its Health Decentralization Support Unit (UADS/MSPP), continued its training series on "Integrated Networks of Health Services" (RISS) in the Health Departments of Center and Artibonite.

Carried out with the technical and financial support of the Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO Haiti), these activities took place with the main objective of "to increase the individual and collective skills of stakeholders, executives at the departmental level in order to develop and appropriate a real network culture in order to be more inclined to give better results in relation to the establishment culture."

These training courses are part of the development strategy of the District Health Units.
