Haiti - Justice : Call for contributors for the 3rd edition of the journal «Transparence» of the ULCC

The Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC) is appealing to anyone who would be interested in publishing an article, any document or sharing knowledge related to one of the 5 themes below in the 3rd edition of his journal "Transparence".

Article limit 2,500 to 3,500 words

The texts of the contributors to this 3rd edition, whose publication is scheduled for July 2023, must be received no later than Monday, May 1st, 2023 at the email address : info@ulcc.gouv.ht.

Themes of the 3rd edition of the journal "Transparence" :

A - FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION IN DIFFERENT SECTORS

Articles dealing with corruption in various sectors of activity such as education, health, sport, finance, public administration, media and others.

B - LEGAL FRAMEWORK FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION IN HAITI

Legislation, case law and court action offer interesting analytical and reflection grids. Specific articles are also expected concerning the implementation of the fight against corruption with regard, for example, to inquiry and investigation techniques, the system of complaints and denunciations, the effectiveness of the systems of audit or intelligence role.

C - PATRIMONY

Article dedicated to the mechanisms for controlling the assets of public officials.

D - INTERNATIONAL ANTI-CORRUPTION

The Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption focused this year on three themes : Gender and Corruption, Environment and Corruption, International Cooperation and Corruption. However, the ULCC remains open to all other reflections concerning international efforts to fight corruption.

E - ANTI-CORRUPTION AND CIVIL SOCIETY

Civil Society is becoming a key player in the fight against corruption in Haiti and around the world. It demonstrates, it organizes itself and moves the lines. This dynamic calls more than ever for deep reflection.
