Jean Ronald Joseph, the Director General of the National Education Fund (FNE) at the head of a delegation made up of technical staff from the institution carried out an inspection tour of the school infrastructures, financed by the FNE (taxes of the diaspora https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-39375-icihaiti-politic-the-contribution-of-the-haitian-diaspora-honored-in-cap-haitien.html ) at the level of several communes of the department.

The delegation first went to the Jean Baptiste Boukman National School in Flaville, located in the town of Acul-du-Nord. A school institution with a capacity of nearly 200 students is almost complete, and the last instructions have been passed for its finalization on the sidelines of its upcoming inauguration.

Despite the difficulties of accessibility, the delegation went to the commune of Dondon where a new fundamental school, financed by the FNE, is also finalized. Some slight adjustments are to be made to the roofs of some of the 5 pavilions, so that the brand new premises are ready to welcome children from the start of the 2023-2024 school year.

During this tour, the delegation also went to the National School of Application of Milot, to supervise the progress of the rehabilitation works of the roofs and finishes financed by the FNE. Jean Ronald Joseph noted that serious interventions remain to be carried out, in order to restore this infrastructure in working order.
