The Municipal Commission of Cap-Haitien is launching a competition for the creation of a logo that will serve as a graphic identity to sell the "Okap Fiesta" concept. Central theme : "Cap Haitien, a Caribbean Cultural Destination".

Objective :

- Create the visual identity of the "Okap Fiesta"

- Promote Cape Town as a Caribbean Cultural Destination

Logo features :

Originality :

The logo must be original and must not project any resemblance to another existing logo;

Simplicity :

The colours, characters and shapes used must allow the logo to be easily and quickly identified;

Readability :

The logo must be readable on a 3cm X 3cm format, easily recognizable and memorable.

Technical constraints :

- Be polychrome (several colors);

- Include no more than three (3) colors;

- Be in formats : JPEG, PNG, TIFF, PDF

- 300 DPI resolution

- Keep the format of the creation software in case of gain: Al, Photoshop, Corel, Autocad or other.

Conditions of participation :

- This free contest is intended for young Haitian graphic designers;

- Be under the age of 30;

- The committee greatly encourages the participation of women;

- The shortlisted accept the publication of their logos on the Okapfiesta Facebook page.

- The contest winner accepts that the logo proposal becomes the exclusive property of the Town Hall of Cap-Haitien. The winner will relinquish all copyright and distribution rights to the use of the logo.
