1-4 years: 9,233 cases (+56)

5-9 years: 6,657 cases (+28)

10-14 years old: 3,319 cases (+14)

15-19 years old: 2,439 cases (+12)

20-29 years old: 5,952 cases (+29)

30-39 years old: 5,072 cases (+13)

40-49 years old: 3,779 cases (+21)

50-59 years old: 2,847 cases (+14)

60-69 years old: 2,008 cases (+7)

70-79 years old: 1,165 cases (+4)

80 years and over: 475 cases (+2)

Men: 54.29% men (-); Women 45.71 (+)

Positivity rate by age segment:

Number of tests carried out: 8,347 +318 in 5 days, previous +0 in 24 hours

Positivity rate: 34.97%, previous 35.30%

It should be noted that the percentage of 34.97% of the rate of positive cases on the tests carried out is much lower than the graph published the same day by the Ministry, which indicates a positivity rate higher than 70%…

Definitions:

Suspected cases:

Anyone with acute watery, profuse diarrhea with or without vomiting and dehydration

Confirmed case:

Any suspected case with a positive culture for “Vibrio cholerae” or presenting an epidemiological link with a confirmed case of cholera

Hospitalized case:

Any suspected or confirmed case that spends at least 24 hours in a care centre

Institutional death:

Any suspected or confirmed case who dies in a treatment center.

Community death:

Any suspected case that dies outside of a caring institution.
