1-4 years: 9,345 cases (+89)

5-9 years: 6,726 cases (+52)

10-14 years old: 3,358 cases (+33)

15-19 years old: 2,467 cases (+19)

20-29 years old: 6,002 cases (+43)

30-39 years: 5110 cases (+32)

40-49 years old: 3,816 cases (+31)

50-59 years old: 2,871 cases (+22)

60-69 years old: 2,034 cases (+17)

70-79 years old: 1,179 cases (+10)

80 years and over: 480 cases (+3)

Men: 54.30% men (+); Women 45.70 (-)

Positivity rate by age segment:

Number of tests carried out: 8,484 +47 in 24h, previous +19 in 24h

Positivity rate: 34.88%, previous 34.79%

It should be noted that the percentage of 34.66% of the rate of positive cases on the tests carried out is much lower than the graph published the same day by the Ministry, which indicates an average positivity rate greater than 50% for the epidemiological week # 21

Definitions:

Suspected cases:

Anyone with acute watery, profuse diarrhea with or without vomiting and dehydration

Confirmed case:

Any suspected case with a positive culture for “Vibrio cholerae” or presenting an epidemiological link with a confirmed case of cholera

Hospitalized case:

Any suspected or confirmed case that spends at least 24 hours in a care centre

Institutional death:

Any suspected or confirmed case who dies in a treatment center.

Community death:

Any suspected case that dies outside of a caring institution.
