The Haitian Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs interested parties that Brazilian universities have granted an extension for the submission of applicants for undergraduate scholarships, until July 17, 2023 (initially scheduled for June 17)

REMINDER:

Criteria:

- Be a Haitian citizen;

- Reside in Haiti;

- Hold a valid passport;

- Be between 18 and 23 years old until December 31, 2023.

- Have an overall arithmetic average equal to or greater than 60%;

- Commit to returning to Haiti after obtaining the respective diploma.

Documents required:

- Secondary school leaving certificate or equivalent document;

- Transcripts with the list of all the subjects taken and all the marks obtained during secondary studies;

- Birth certificate of the applicant, his father or his mother or any other identity document officially indicating the nationality;

- Recent medical certificate of physical and mental health;

- Proof of financial support from a family member or institutional sponsor agreeing to cover the student's basic expenses for the duration of their stay in Brazil. Traditionally, the amount of the monthly allowance is set at a minimum of 400 US dollars. Important: Plane tickets, visa fees (Brazilian visa and transit visa) and accommodation will be at their expense.
