Haiti - Sports : 12 Haitian athletes to the 16th Pan American Games 2011

The Pan American Games, held for the first time in Buenos Aires in 1951, will be making their 16th edition in 2011, in Mexico and is the largest high-level sports competition organized by the Olympic movement, especially for American countries, from north to south.

Nine months before the 2012 Olympic Games in London, the 16th Pan American Games, taking place this year in Guadalajara [Mexico] from October 15 to 30, 2011. 42 countries will compete in 36 disciplines. 12 Haitian Athletes will participate in these competitions in five disciplines: Athletics - Judo - Tennis - Taekwondo and weight lifting.
