Haiti - Politic : Alain Juppé congratulates the Prime Minister, Garry Conille

Alain Juppé, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs who visited Haiti, on the occasion of the inauguration of President Martelly, has addressed his congratulations to the Prime Minister Dr. Garry Conille for his nomination and reiterated the commitment of France with Haiti.

"I address all my congratulations to Mr. Garry Conille for his appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Haiti and all my wishes of success for the essential and the difficult task that awaits him.

Under his leadership, the Haitian government will have to face the major challenges to which the Republic of Haiti is facing : improve the situation of Haitians, especially those who are still suffering in the aftermath of the earthquake, launch the major projects of reconstruction and implement an effective governance for the whole country.

France, committed in time for the reconstruction of Haiti will continue to be alongside the Haitian government to consolidate the rule of law and improving the living conditions of its citizens.

I look forward to, without delay, continue with the President Michel Martelly, the Prime Minister Garry Conille and our partners of the international community, the work undertaken for the development of Haiti."
