Haitian small merchants at the Ouanaminthe border crossing point were arrested and robbed of their goods, which they carried in bags, boxes and wheelbarrows, across the Massacre River bridge and wanted to return to Haiti to sell their products and support their family...

Goods that were trampled and destroyed by politicized compatriots, stationed on site to prevent Haitian merchants from passing through Dominican territory to buy products and bring them back to Haiti...
