Canal construction : The Government will provide its support

The Government will shortly provide technical and financial support for the construction of the irrigation canal with water intake on the Massacre River. Several Ministers met, in this regard on Thursday October 26, the committee in charge of managing the site.

France : Distribution of food to school canteens

The General Coordination of the National School Canteen Program (PNCS) informs the general public that food produced in Haiti will be distributed to schools for the benefit of 41,227 beneficiaries of the Program under the network of the Cooperation and Cultural Action Service (SCAC) from the French Embassy in Haiti. The coordination reminds everyone that the sale of these products is strictly prohibited.

SIM card : Authentication of applicants

The National Telecommunications Council (CONATEL) and the National Identification Office (ONI) co-chaired an important working meeting with the two mobile telephone operators NATCOM and DIGICEL, around the issues of "identification and authentication" of SIM card users. An independent platform will be created to allow operators, using ONI data, to verify the information provided by potential SIM card applicants or buyers.
