Customs modernization

A working meeting took place this Monday, December 18, 2023 between the Director General of the General Customs Administration and the Commission responsible for monitoring and evaluating the Haitian Customs Modernization Program, with a view to defining strategies for coordination, monitoring and evaluation of related activities.

Jacmel : March to demand the release of Mayor Marky Kessa

Sunday December 17, 2023, residents of the commune of Jacmel organized a peaceful march to demand the release of Marky Kessa, Mayor of the city (interim executive agent). The latter was arrested and imprisoned on November 20, after his hearing by Judge Water Wesser Voltaire as part of the investigation into the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse.
