Haiti - Football : Mrs. Gally Amazan new Member of the FHF Standardization Committee

The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) informs of the appointment by FIFA of Mrs. Gally Amazan, as member of the Normalization Committee, with immediate effect.

Mrs. Amazan is a seasoned professional with 28 years of experience. She holds two master's degrees, one in Sports Organization Management from the Claude Bernard Lyon University (France), and the other in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ottawa (Canada).

A former national team volleyball player and volleyball coach, Mrs. Amazan has held various roles in the sporting field. She was Secretary General of the Haitian Volleyball Federation, President of the West Region Volleyball League, and played a key role within the Haitian Olympic Committee (COH) as Advisor, Deputy Secretary General , Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer.

During her time at COH, she contributed in particular to:

  • The development of the Committee’s financial management procedures;

  • The adoption of criteria for the equitable distribution of funds from the Olympic Committee to member federations;

  • Training of member federations on accountability and fundraising, thus contributing to strengthening the transparency and financial efficiency of Haitian sports organizations.

Her contribution to sport extends beyond national borders, as director of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) National Sports Administration Courses.

The FHF expresses its confidence in Ms. Amazan for her ability to make a significant contribution to the normalization and continued development of football in Haiti. "We are convinced that his diverse experience and his unwavering commitment to excellence will strengthen the governance of the FHF and contribute to the development of Haitian football."
