Haiti - France-BRH : MASTER 2 scholarship (2024-2025), Call for applications 02/02/2024 09:01:08 These scholarships are aimed at Haitian students of very good level wishing to continue their higher studies at the level of the 2nd year of master (M2) in a French public university. Alongside the scholarship application, candidates must apply for admission to the targeted training via the official "Etudes en France" procedure accessible at the address https://pastel.diplomatie.gouv.fr/etudesenfrance Attention: Scholarship application files presenting an admission obtained outside the ETUDES EN FRANCE (EeF) procedure will be automatically rejected. Eligibility criteria: - Be under the age of 35 on January 1st of the year of allocation; - Be of Haitian nationality and reside in Haiti; - Hold a university degree of at least BAC+4 level or equivalent in the relevant field of study; - Not having benefited from a study or internship grant from the French Embassy in the previous three years. IMPORTANT: you can submit a scholarship application without final registration authorization from the university (but with documents attesting to your application procedures with the targeted training). Registration authorization will be requested if your application is accepted. Calendar: All requested documents must be submitted to the French Embassy in Haiti (Cooperation and Cultural Action Service) located 51, rue Capois, Champs de Mars, Port-au-Prince – Tel: 29 99 90 27, before the submission deadline set at May 24, 2024. Incomplete files or files submitted after this date will be systematically rejected. - May 24: deadline for submitting applications; - from May 27 to 31: analysis of files by the Cooperation and Cultural Action Service of the French Embassy and pre-selection by a joint Franco-Haitian commission; - from June 3 to 5: oral interview of pre-selected candidates; candidates not invited to an oral interview may consider that their application has not been accepted; - week of June 10: publication of results; successful candidates will be contacted directly; - End of August : departure preparation session with Espace Campus France. Implementation of support: In the event that your application has been accepted, the Cooperation Service of the French Embassy will then proceed to examine the files previously selected by the Franco-Haitian joint scholarship commission in liaison with the French managing body, Campus France , which will ensure: - Liaison with the scholarship holder’s host establishment; - Payment of the monthly allowance; - Payment of training costs; - Getting started with the scholarship holder: reservation and arrangement of prepaid plane tickets with identified travel agencies. The award of a scholarship from the French Government allows you to obtain a visa (free) from the consular section of the French Embassy. However, it is necessary to respect visa delivery deadlines and anticipate your application.
