Haiti - Politic : The SDP asks the Presidential Council to give free rein to the PM

The Democratic and Popular Sector (radical opposition) signatory of the Consensus of December 21 (Representative on the Council: Louis Gérald Gilles), notes the appointment of Citizen Gary Conille as Prime Minister of the Transition by the Presidential Council. The SDP asks the Council to have the political wisdom to give free rein to the Prime Minister to enable him to compose a true Government of National Unity with the Participation of political stakeholders and Civil Society and the Diaspora.

In addition, for the balance and impartiality of the Transition, strategic positions such as those of the Ministries of the Economy, the Interior, Justice, and the directorates of the National Old Age Insurance Office (ONA), the General Tax Office (DGI), the National Port Authority (APN) and the General Customs Administration (AGD), among others... cannot be entrusted to the political parties that will participate in the next elections.

We all have an interest in engaging the country in an impartial, balanced and transparent electoral process. It is at this price and only at this price that we will have stability and economic development.
