Towards a reduced ministerial cabinet

Tuesday June 4th, 2024, the Transitional Presidential Council held an important working session with Prime Minister Garry Conille in order to provide the country with a new Government as quickly as possible. An agreement was reportedly reached to go from 18 to 13 ministries. Furthermore, Prime Minister Conille would have chosen Madelain Fils-Aimé as Chief of Staff and former minister Camille Junior Edouard as Secretary General of the Prime Minister's Office.

It will take a national mobilization of the population to address the problem of insecurity, says former minister Paul Antoine Bien-Aimé, who was running for the post of Prime Minister of the transition. Search at the FNE

Following complaints, mandated by the Director General, Me Hans Ludwig Joseph of the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC), investigators carried out a search of the National Education Fund (FNE) on Tuesday, June 4th.
