The Embassy of Haiti in Canada informs the public in general and students in particular that the Foundation of the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi (UQAC) in Quebec, offers two scholarships for Haitian students.

Description of the 2 scholarships:

Scholarship 1:

An amount of $2,000 will be awarded to a student(2) from Haiti enrolling in a baccalaureate program at UQAC for fall 2024 (two equal payments of $1,000 fall-winter)

Scholarship 2:

An amount of $3,000 will be awarded to a student from Haiti enrolling in a master's program (professional or scientific) at UQAC for fall 2024 (two equal payments of $1,500 fall-winter )

Note: These scholarships can be combined with other institutional or government scholarships (subject to validation with UQAC).

Required conditions :

• Be coming directly from Haiti for the year 2024-2025;

• Complete the scholarship competition participation form before June 30, 2024 at noon (eastern time) https://uqac.jotform.com/241484457856873

• Provide the mandatory documents required in the form (transcript and cover letter);

• Be registered full-time for the first time in a bachelor's or master's program offered by UQAC in the fall 2024 term;

• Be the best candidate based on the general average at the time of admission;

• Be in Quebec territory for the start of the fall 2024 term, according to the date planned in the university calendar.

• The excellence of the academic record

• The quality of the cover letter
