The Minister to the Presidency in charge of Haitians living abroad Mr. Daniel Supplice and his Chief of Staff Me Serge Fernandez, have participated to the retreat of work organized by the Office of the Prime Minister, from Friday 11 to Sunday, November 13, 2011. These working sessions, to which also took part, the Cabinet of Ministers, Secretaries of State and senior officials, have allowed to present the broad outlines of the government policy.

The Minister Supplice, in his presentation, focused on the essential mission of MHAVE, that of facilitate the access, for the Haitian emigrant, to high quality services, for satisfying their needs related to the Motherland. He also presented an inventory of the Ministry, relatively dark, and promised to meet with the various Haitian communities of the diaspora, to identify the new directions of MHAVE.

Daniel Supplice, Minister to the Presidency in charge of Haitians living abroad explained "We had a fruitful meeting between my private room and the directors of all the units in my ministry. We agreed on a final organization chart in order to make more effective the actions of MHAVE and have a stronger better organized diaspora [...] We are determined, dear compatriots, to make of this Ministry an institution of service !"
