Haiti - Politic : The PM exchanges with representatives of several trade union organizations

Tuesday July 9, 2024, the Prime Minister, Garry Conille, accompanied by Georges Wilbert Franck, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, met at the Official Residence with representatives of several organizations in the trade union sector.

The objective for the Head of Government was to receive the lists of grievances from representatives of different trade union organizations in civil society and to discuss the Government's support.

During this work meeting, Conille had cordial exchanges with these trade unionists who represented, among others, workers, public sector employees, women's organizations, human rights organizations, high school students, around a common objective aimed at improving their living conditions.

The demands of textile sector workers, merchants, clerks and thousands of displaced victims of insecurity in the metropolitan region of Port-au-Prince were also discussed,

Prime Minister Conille renewed his Government's commitment to working tirelessly to create a secure and stable environment favorable to the revival of the economy, growth and job creation.
