The Rectorate of the State University of Haiti formally denies information suggesting that the UEH :

1- asked international academic institutions to cancel the master's and doctoral studies of students from the Gonaïves School of Law and Economic Sciences (EDSEG) for the period from 2019 to 2024;

2- requested the dismissal of judges and civil servants who studied at EDSEG during the aforementioned period.

The Rectorate denounces and condemns with the greatest rigor this dishonest approach on the part of ill-intentioned people who only aim to create confusion in public opinion following the memorandum of understanding that it signed on 3 July 2024 with the School of Law and Economic Sciences of Gonaïves in the greatest interest of the EDSEG community.

Consequently, the Rectorate calls on everyone to be extremely vigilant in verifying the authenticity of the information conveyed in the name of the UEH. This is to avoid falling into the trap of these thugs seeking to weaken the understanding reached between the two institutions.

Furthermore, the Rectorate warns the authors and accomplices of this slanderous practice against the UEH under penalty of being prosecuted by the appropriate person.
