On Monday, November 18, 2024, the Haitian National Police (PNH) reinforced its presence in several neighborhoods of the capital while continuing its fight against armed terrorist gangs, in different strategic areas, in order to allow all citizens to carry out their activities in complete peace. Among the areas concerned, we can cite among others : "Pétion-ville, Delmas 31, 33, 48, and 62, Maïs Gâté, the perimeter of Toussaint Louverture Airport and Gérald Bataille," to name a few.

On the other hand, as part of the anti-terrorist operation, several specialized units of the PNH continued their operations and interventions throughout the day, in the Zones: "Solino, Bel-Air, Bas-Delmas, Tabarre, Carrefour de l'Aéroport" and various other areas of downtown Port-au-Prince. As part of these operations, several bandits were fatally injured during the exchange of fire with the police...

Should be noted that the Commander in Chief of the PNH Rameau NORMIL and the High Command continue to adapt their strategies to combat criminal acts in all forms. In this sense, formal instructions have already been sent to all Commanders at the top of the jurisdictions, Commanders of specialized units and police stations, to summon without distinction and transmit orders to all police personnel, so that the police are always present and remain mobilized in the fight against criminals and terrorists, so that order and peace are restored within the population.

Faced with the acts of gangs, the PNH says it is convinced that the marriage of the police and the population is one of the strategic and social tools that will solve the problem of insecurity.
