The Digicel Foundation Talent Contest aims to showcase your talents while encouraging the creation of works that combine creativity and the spirit of Christmas. All forms of artistic creation can participate, provided that they respect the theme which is: "Christmas in Haiti : smiles and sharing" (Nwèl an Ayiti: souri ak pataj).

Who can participate in the contest ?

The contest is open to all residents of Haiti and aged 15 or over.

What types of talents can be submitted ?

Participants must submit a video showcasing their talent in the following categories:

- Singing

- Dancing

- Drawings, paintings, sculptures

- Drama (monologue, sketch)

- Any other form of creative talent

The video can include several people if the participation of the group is essential to accomplish the task. However, only one person will be considered an official participant.

How to submit the video ? :

- Maximum duration: 1 minute 30 seconds.

- The video must have either an introduction (opening), or a subtitle that describes the work.

- For material works (drawings, paintings, sculptures), the video must show the creation process (before and after).

- Indicate your personal information in the email (name, first name, age, address and telephone number).

- Indicate on which platform (Facebook or Instagram) you wish to participate and specify your username (Username) on the platform of your choice. You can only participate on one platform.

- Photo of an identity document.

Videos will be evaluated by a jury composed of members of the Board and the Digicel Foundation team, according to the following criteria:

Respect for the theme:

Does the proposal reflect the spirit of Christmas in Haiti, by highlighting smiles and sharing?

Originality:

Is the talent presented innovative or distinctive?

Quality of the performance:

Does the execution of the work or performance demonstrate real know-how and mastery of the field?

Technical quality:

Does the video stand out for its clarity of sound, image quality and creativity in its presentation?

Important dates to remember:

Competition launch : November 24, 2024; Jury Selection : December 10th;

Online Voting Period: December 11th to December 17th.

Video Submission Deadline : December 9th

Prizes :

There will be 2 winners:

- The winner on Facebook will receive: 2,000 US dollars

- The winner on Instagram will receive: 2,000 US dollars
