The Haitian Socca Federation (FHS) extends its warmest congratulations to our Grenadiers who are preparing to write a new page of history by participating, for the first time, in the 2024 Socca World Cup which will be held this year in Oman (Country of the Arabian Peninsula) from this Friday, November 29, 2024

In Group E our Grenadiers find themselves alongside Poland, France, Turkey and Pakistan.

A special thank you goes to Mrs. Devalis Niola Lynn Sarah, the Minister of Sports whose unwavering commitment was decisive in supporting the team. Through her determination, she mobilized all the necessary resources, thus providing invaluable logistical and moral support.

This Socca competition is a unique opportunity to restore Haiti's worldwide pride.

The Socca World Cup, also known as the 6-a-side World Cup, is an international competition contested by the men's national teams of the members of the International Socca Federation

The duration of the game can vary depending on the competition between 20 and 40 minutes. The standard duration of matches for Socca competitions is 30 minutes (two halves of 15 minutes each).

Matches for International Socca Federation (ISF) competitions can be played with 5, 6 or 7 players per team (including the goalkeeper)

The minimum pitch size for a 5-a-side game is 30m x 50m; for a 6-a-side game is 35m x 60m and for a 7-a-side game is 35m x 65m. The goals are 4m x 2m. The recommended playing surface is 3G artificial grass.

For international tournaments organized by the ISF There is no offside rule in the matches. Substitutions are unlimited and can take place at any time during the game.
