In his speech, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé stressed that this is "[...] not only a decisive turning point for the public procurement system in Haiti, but it is also part of a broader political vision, focused on strengthening the capacities of the State, promoting good governance [...]" recalling that "for too long, our public procurement system has faced [...] A lack of professionalization, where market management often relies on skills acquired empirically [...]" "This program reflects the Government’s desire to promote governance based on competence, ethics and integrity […] This Master’s program is not a simple academic initiative; it is a strategic instrument for transforming public resource management practices [...]  The results we are aiming for through this program are ambitious, but they are up to the challenges our country is facing.
