Haiti - Security : High-level strategic meeting

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, Fritz Alphonse Jean, the President pro tempore of the Transitional Council (CPT), held a strategic meeting at the Haitian National Police (PNH) headquarters with the Acting Commander-in-Chief of the PNH, Mr. Rameau Normil, accompanied by other senior members of the Police Institution, Acting Lieutenant General of the Haitian Armed Forces (FAD'H) Derby Guerrier, and the Commander of the Multinational Security Support Mission (MMSS), Godfrey Otungé.

The participants discussed the insecurity that continues to disrupt the population and assessed the measures needed to create synergy between the three forces present on the ground (PNH, FAd'H, and the Multinational Mission) to put an end to gang terror.

At the end of this meeting, guidelines regarding the security situation were established. It should be noted that neither Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, President of the National Police High Council (CSPN), nor Mario Andrésol, Secretary of State for Public Security, were present at this meeting...
