Haiti - Airport : Martelly inaugurates the departure hall of the Toussaint Louverture International Airport

Yesterday Monday, the President of the Republic, Michel Martelly, inaugurated the departure hall of the Toussaint Louverture International Airport, completely renovated as part of the rehabilitation work carried out in this public institution and whose funding is granted by the Haitian government to the tune of $4.3 million.

"...I do not need to tell you how proud I am of you, you are not working because there is no work, but you can work ou know how work [...] I would say to all the workers who worked on this project, the head of Panexus, to Miyamoto... I will tell you that the country is proud of you..." declared on the occasion Michel Martelly.

The ceremony took place in presence, among others, of the Minister of Tourism, Ms. Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, Senator of the Centre, Mr. Desra Simon Dieuseul and of Mayor of the town of Delmas, Wilson Jeudy, was opportunity for the Head of State to praise the quality of the work presented by the heads of companies in charge of the site. He particularly thanked the workers present in large numbers for the occasion, who have put their expertise at the service of the reconstruction of their country.

The President Martelly who also promises to extend this rehabilitation work at Police Station of the Airport, qualifies as symbolic the completion of the first phase of the project which should result in a modern building which should be the pride of every Haitian. "The quality of this work proves that we can actually do great things with our own means," welcomed the President of the Republic.
