Starting from 2012, Chile will gradually withdraw its military contingent, part of the United Nations Mission for Stabilization in Haiti (MINUSTAH) is what has just announced the Chilean Minister of Defense Andres Allamand.

"We proposed to the Council of Defense Latin American that in 2012, we began to withdraw our troops on manner progressive, proportional and coordinated," declare Mr. Allamand.
