Haiti - Diaspora : Donation of 12 fire trucks and 10 ambulances

Historic Donation of Humanitarian Equipment and Emergency Vehicles : 12 Fire Trucks and 10 Ambulances Donated to Haiti Thanks to a Partnership Between the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal and the Caribbean Public Safety and Outreach Training Academy (CPSOTA)

On July 22, 2025, an official ceremony was held at the Port of Newark, New Jersey, marking the departure of a convoy of health and safety equipment consisting of 12 fire trucks and 10 ambulances, intended to support emergency services and ensure rapid and effective access to medical care in Haiti. This vital donation aims to strengthen response capabilities across the country while improving responses to critical situations.

This initiative, the result of close collaboration between the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal and CPSOTA, is part of a proactive diplomatic effort aimed at mobilizing concrete resources for the benefit of the Haitian people.

The official handover ceremony took place in the presence of Consul General Anès Lubin, who, on behalf of the Haitian Government, expressed his gratitude to the entire CPSOTA team for this strong and exemplary act of solidarity.

In his remarks, the Consul reiterated that this type of partnership demonstrates the strategic role of consular diplomacy, not only in representing the State, but also in mobilizing essential technical and logistical support for strengthening national institutions. He also emphasized the need for user training to better utilize these vehicles, while contributing to their efficiency and sustainability.

This convoy, composed of fully functional vehicles, goes far beyond a simple logistical operation : it represents a bridge of solidarity between the diaspora, North American institutions, and the Republic of Haiti.

Through this concrete action, the Consulate General of Haiti in Montreal reaffirms its commitment to making diplomacy a force for action and reconstruction. He reiterates his commitment to working alongside committed partners such as the CPSOTA to strengthen the capacity of the Haitian State, modernize public services, and restore collective hope.
