Haiti - Politic : The President Martelly will speak Jan. 9, before the National Assembly

The President Michel Martelly will deliver tomorrow Monday, January 9, 2012, before both Houses united in National Assembly, his very first speech on the state of the Nation, to mark the opening of the first ordinary session of the 49th Legislature. During this same meeting, the Prime Minister, Dr. Garry Conille will also present the results of his Government.

The Deputy Guy Gérard Georges, First Secretary of the Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies and member of the National Assembly, wishes that the Head of State is committed to working to revive the process of reconstruction of the country and hopes that no institutional or political crisis will disturb Haiti in 2012.

Given the crisis linked to the case Bélizaire ; the decision of the Commission of Inquiry and monitoring of the Lower House on this case, who raises fears the worst ; of Senator Jean-Charles Moïse who seeks to bring down the government by increasing his allegations of dual citizenship of the Head of State and several other ministers ; of the delay in the publication of the amendment of the Constitution ; it is likely that the hopes of the Deputy Guy Gérard Georges are likely to be quickly disappointed.
