Haiti - Politic : Verification of the nationality of 39 members of the government

According to Senator Steven Benoît, the Special Commission responsible for investigating on the nationality of members of government, including that of Head of State, created at the end of October 2010 and composed of nine senators [Joseph Lambert, Yvon Buissereth, Steven Benoît, Youri Latortue, Dieuseul Simon Deras, Evallière Beauplan, John Joël Joseph, Nenel Cassy and Moïse Jean-Charles] will extend its investigation from Monday to 39 members of the government...

The Senator Benoit, indicated that the office of the Senate had already written to the heads of institutions concerned, to inform them of the arrival of members of the various sub-committees to verify the documents of the members of the Government targeted by the Commission.

In addition, Steven Benoît stresses that the documents of evidence promised by the Senator Moïse Jean Charles alleging that the President Martelly has a triple nationality have not yet been submitted to the Commission, but that this should be done next Monday.
