On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at the Villa d’Accueil, under the patronage of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, an official ceremony was held to present two checks to the Normalization Committee of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), each for a historic amount of 264 million gourdes (just over 2 million USD).

The first check is earmarked for the Grenadiers' qualification bonus, while the second aims to ensure optimal preparation for the national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, reflecting concrete, structured, and ambitious support for performance.

In his address, the Prime Minister congratulated and thanked the Grenadiers for qualifying for the world's most prestigious football competition. He emphasized that this qualification embodies the courage and resilience of an entire nation. He also stated that the checks presented symbolize the confidence placed in the national team and in Haitian youth. Recalling that the entire country supports the players, he promised the installation of screens throughout the country so that the population can fully experience this sporting event, in which Haiti is participating for the second time in its history.

During the ceremony, the President of the Normalization Committee, Ms. Monique André, expressed her gratitude to the Government for this essential financial support for the Grenadiers' preparation. She took the opportunity to officially present the Prime Minister with the jersey that the team will proudly wear during the World Cup.
