Arrival of the GSF Commander-in-Chief in Haiti

On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the Acting Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian National Police (PNH), Vladimir Paraison, accompanied by members of the High Command, welcomed the High Command of the Gang Supression Force (GSF), led by Major General Erdenebat Batsuuri of the Mongolian Armed Forces.

The meeting, held at the General Directorate headquarters, provided an opportunity to discuss arrangements related to the operational deployment of this force within the national territory.

Major General Batsuuri was accompanied by officers from several partner countries, including Sri Lanka and Chad, and he specified that the GSF deployment will also involve other nations.

This mission is part of the preparations for the gradual deployment of the GSF and the strengthening of coordination with the PNH on the ground.

It is worth recalling that the GSF has an offensive mandate aimed at neutralizing armed groups, securing key infrastructure, and supporting the PNH. Among its other missions, the GSF will consolidate and stabilize areas already recaptured by the PNH, with a view to the gradual restoration of security throughout the country.
