2026 World Cup : Brazil vs Haiti Refereeing

FIFA has unveiled the refereeing team which will officiate during the meeting between the "Seleção" of Brazil and the Grenadiers of Haiti, counting for the second day of Group C of the 2026 World Cup (June 19 at 8:30 PM (Haiti time) at Philadelphia Stadium :

Main referee: Alejandro Hernández (Spain)

Assistant n°1 : José Enrique Naranjo (Spain)

Assistant n°2 : Diego Sánchez (Spain)

Fourth referee : Sandro Schaerer (Switzerland)

Reserve assistant referee : Stéphane De Almeida (Switzerland)

IBC Airways flight Fort Lauderdale/Cayes

Tuesday June 16, 2926, the airline IBC Airways launched its first flight linking Fort Lauderdale to the city of Les Cayes. The inaugural flight was operated aboard an Embraer ERJ-145XR, having on board 30 passengers including the Haitian consul in Miami, Yverick Delerme. IBC Airways plans two weekly rotations, Tuesdays and Thursdays, in addition to the connections already operated to Miami. From September 2, 2026, the company will increase to 8 flights per week, with two flights per day on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
