Guatemala to Double its Military Force in Haiti

Guatemalan President Bernardo Arévalo announced that his government will double the Guatemalan military presence in Haiti, increasing the contingent from 150 to 300 soldiers. The army confirmed that this additional deployment is being prepared, but no deployment date has been mentioned.

BRH : Dollar Reserves Soar

From 2023 to June 2026, the US foreign exchange reserves of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti (BRH) increased from $350 million to over $1.8 billion.

Distribution of relief items to 5,000 families
