Haiti - FAd'H : 665 new Recruits begin their Military Training

The Ministry of Defense announces that the selection process for a new class of soldiers in the Armed Forces of Haiti (FAd’H) officially concluded on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Following the various selection stages, 665 recruits, including 98 women, were chosen after meeting all the medical, physical, psychotechnical, and administrative requirements for admission. They will now begin their military training, a crucial step in their preparation for service to the nation.

This new class reflects the Government's commitment to further strengthening the operational capabilities of the Armed Forces of Haiti by building a modern, professional, disciplined, and fully operational military institution capable of addressing security challenges and contributing to the country's development.

In line with this same objective, a new phase of the recruitment process will begin as soon as this class is integrated into its new unit. To this end, 2,000 new candidates will soon be summoned to participate in the various selection tests outlined in the current procedures.

In the interest of transparency, inclusion, and fairness, this new phase will involve candidates registered at the main recruitment centers located throughout the country's major cities. This approach aims to ensure balanced representation from different regions and to offer all applicants who meet the admission criteria an equal opportunity to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Haiti.
