The Haitian Socca Federation (FHS) informs that the Selection of Grenadiers de Socca will officially participate in the 2026 Socca World Cup, which will take place in Essen, Germany, from August 28 to September 6, 2026.

This third participation of Haiti in a final phase of the Socca World Cup, the 7th edition, confirms the progress made by our Grenadiers in Haiti and reflects the Federation's commitment to promoting a sustainable sporting project in the service of Haitian youth.

Beyond the sporting issue, this participation is part of the vision of the FHS to make sport a real lever for coaching youth, social cohesion and the international influence of Haiti. The Haitian Socca Federation thanks all of its partners for their trust and invites the Haitian population to accompany the national selection in this new adventure which will once again carry the colors of Haiti on the world stage.

The tournament on Kennedyplatz in Essen welcomes 48 nations from 6 continents.

The official composition of the groups was finalized during the official draw on June 18, 2026. Our Grenadiers Socca selections are in Group H alongside Kazakhstan (favorite, world champion at the 2023 World Socca), Turkey (competitive team which will benefit from massive popular support from the local Turkish community in Essen) and Belgium (European outsider which gains in structure and experience over the years.)

Haiti's first official match for the 2026 Socca World Cup is scheduled for Friday August 28, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. against Kazakhstan. The exact dates of the other two group matches (against Belgium and Turkey) will be distributed between Saturday August 29 and Wednesday September 2, 2026 according to the order of the International Socca Federation (ISF) calendar.

The Socca World Cup, also called the "6-a-side Football World Cup", is an international competition contested by the men's national teams of members of the International Socca Federation (ISF)

The duration of the game may vary depending on the competition between 20 and 40 minutes. The standard match length for Socca competitions is 30 minutes (two halves of 15 minutes each).

Matches for International Socca Federation (ISF) competitions can take the form of 5, 6 or 7 players per team (including the goalkeeper)

The minimum pitch size for a 5v5 football game is 30m x 50m; for a game of 6 is 35m x 60m and for a game of 7 is 35m x 65m. The goals measure 4m x 2m. The recommended playing surface is the 3G artificial turf pitch.

For international tournaments organized by the ISF There is no offside rule in matches. Substitutions are unlimited and can take place at any time during the game.
