The resignation of Prime Minister, Dr. Garry Conille has been a shock for the Senator of Centre Edmonde Supplice Beauzile, President of the party Fusion.

"...when I heard the news, indeed I took it as a shock to the extent that at the level of the party Fusion, we were in expectation of seeing the country take-off, taking into account that we had seen several forums with foreign investors [...] it made me believe that there was possibility of investments in the country, and if there are investments, there is job creation, if there are job creations there is a change in the quality of life for people in the country [...]

I believe that a change of government [...] is able to discourage people who come to invest in the country [...] this is not the best time to enter into a dynamic of establishment of another government [...] for sure we are in an uncertain situation [...] the budget has been tabled in Parliament and if we stay with a transitional government, the budget will not be published also [...] this is not a situation that people wanted to have, what we will live in the coming months. [...]"
