Everything is ready for the Championship U-20 Women's of the CONCACAF, this Thursday 1st March 2012 in Panama. Eight nations will seek to win their ticket for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup which will be held this year in Japan. Only three will have the honor of representing their confederation.

Beaten finalists of the last edition two years ago, Mexico is in the Group A long with Canada, Haiti and Jamaica. The U.S., defending champions, will have to get rid of Cuba, Guatemala and Panama in Group B. The first two of each pool will qualify for the semifinals, whose winners will be guaranteed to go to Japan. The losers will have to compete for their part to decide which will be the third lucky.

Canada, which will open the ball against Haiti in Group A, will come with an experienced selection because no fewer than nine players have already experienced the joys of selection A.

Haiti can believe :

Mexican women will begin their journey by facing the Reggae Girlz of Jamaica, who played in all five editions of this tournament qualifier. The islanders emerging from a nice preliminary phase in the Caribbean since they are inclined only with the Haitian selection. The latter is justly an outsider in the Group A, after ten years after its inaugural participation in 2002. Despite a long absence, our Haitian could hold their own game with a great find in goal, in the person of Cynthia Cheny Immaculée, impressive at the top of its 17 years.
