The Presidency of the Republic announces the realization of two major intensive activities to improve child health.

It brings to the attention of the general population and fathers and mothers in particular that intensive activities for improving child health will be conducted from April 21 to May 5, 2012.

During these activities, children 0-9 years will be vaccinated against measles, rubella and polio and will receive Vitamin A and deworming (Albendazole).

The Presidency of the Republic calls, not only the parents but also those responsible for schools and orphanages to contribute to the success of this activity whose the ministries of Public Health and Population, National Education and Interior and Local Authorities contribute to the achievement.

The Office of the President, while renewing its firm will to work towards the improvement of living conditions of all Haitian children, relies on the cooperation of all the other partners involved in the reduction of infant mortality rate to make of these intensive activities a true success.
