Me Jean Renel Sénatus, the Government Commissioner, reported that after being informed by the Director General of the Electricity of Haiti (Electricité D'Haïti - EDH), of the diversion of about 3 million gourdes of pension fund of former employees "An investigation is underway and several employees suspected of being involved in this matter are currently in jail [...] They are charged with embezzlement and use of false. Two commercial banks in the capital are also concerned by the investigation..."

The case was transferred to the 'cabinet of instruction' for appropriate action.
