One of the concerns raised by the audience was the inconsistency at the level of numbering used on the territory of Haiti. The experts noted the lack of standardization in the numbering of territory, which is performed by each entity according to its own criteria and concluded that the OPH should define itself, the operating criteria, that will lead to the development of a postal code efficient and adapted to all situations.

Thanks to this program, the OPH will also be able to identify, the existing infrastructure for the establishment of additional postal annexes.

The Directorate of Planning and the Technical Department, considering using GIS to define of parameters and criteria for the establishment of a new postal code, based on the geo-spatial coordinates of Haiti.
