Haiti - Social : Good news, the Post regularizes the wages of its employees

The Directorate General of Post Office of Haiti (OPH) confirms to all postal employees, throughout the territory, the payment of nine months of salary arrears [January to September 2012] and thank them for the patience, demonstrated by the majority of staff and encourages them to continue to work towards the advancement of the Office, in the interest of the Haitian people.

Remember that employees of the OPH, have been for years, deprived of regular pay, a situation representing a key priority of the new administration headed by Ms. Régine Godfrey. This recovery has been possible thanks to the dynamism of the new team, who was able to manage the daily receipts, motivate employees to provide better service and deal with waste.

Ms. Régine Godefroy, reiterates her commitment to continue to mentor employees of the OPH, by offering them a wage stability, progressive career plan, health insurance and rely on the dynamism of employees in general and of postman in particular, to provide a regular service, fast and of quality to the Haitian people.

The OPH appeal to the citizens of Haiti and the Diaspora, to use the services of Posts to allow the institution to improve the quality of its services and revise upwards the salaries of its employees, who fight every day, alongside the Directorate, to rebuild the image of the Haitian Post.
