Our national selection was at its best against the team of Antigua [Wadidli Boys] who had put aside the Grenadiers of qualifying for the World Cup FIFA Brazil 2014...

Tuesday evening, the Grenadiers, as part of the second day of the 17th edition of the Caribbean Nations Cup at Antigua Recreation Ground of Saint-John’s had no other choice than to obtain a draw or win for their qualification.

With a desire for revenge and victory, our Granadiers, very offensive their first goal in the 18' with a shot of Jean-Philippe Peguero (18'), foiling numerous threat of the host team. At half time the score is still 1-0 and remain unchanged throughout the second period, team of Antigua was powerless face to our players.

By winning this match against Antigua 1-0, the Grenadiers not only restore their honor by taking their revenge, but they qualified for the semi-finals of the Cup of Nations Caribbean and validated their ticket to the 12th Edition of national selections of the CONCACAF, the Gold Cup which will be held from 7 to 28 July 2013.
