Haiti - Culture : A «Show Pikliz» in a spirit of Christmas

Friday for its fourth weekly appointment at the Municipal Palace of Delmas 33, the Show Pikliz, before an audience constantly increasing, singers, teller, comedians took the stage one after another, to execute their performance and deliver a message to young people on the occasion of the Feast of Christmas.

The group "Inspiration, NouvoT Rap" invited young people to celebrate Peace, love in brotherhood and joy in this Christmas time while the group "L'armée des sages" pleaded for an alternative rescue of the environment and new ways to get the country out of the division, in his sketch "Haïti, haïtien".

The company "Pè deblozay" drew the gloomy picture of the existence of "restavèk" in a staging "les tribulations de Litaniz" while Martissant Youth Association (AJMA), outlined in a mime "kote nou soti" the escapades of the slavers.

Among the dancers who charmed the audience of the show Pikliz, Jimmy Joly interpreted the magic step of the American King of Pop Michael Jackson and executed among other the choreography of "Beat It" and "Billie Jean".

And to finish the evening, Lionel Benjamin, the Haitian Santa Claus, guest of honor of Pikliz show, performed one of his flagship songs of Christmas "Se mwen ab de nwèl". In chorus, the audience humming the chorus, which has never ceased to rock the heart of all Haitians for decades.
