Haiti - Reconstruction : The HRF Steering Committee examines the Government projects

Wednesday 6 February, the Steering Committee of the Haiti Reconstruction Fund (HRF), will meet under the presidency of Jean Marie Carmelle Marie, Minister of Economy and Finance, in order to study several funding requests of the Haitian Government for the following projects :

  • Project of support to the public provision of health and education in the Central Department for strengthening clinical activities, community and pedagogical at the University Hospital of Mirebalais (HUM) ;

  • Rehabilitation project of the 115 kV transmission line Peligre - Port-au-Prince (EDH) ;

  • Project of support to the reconstruction through the creation of employment in 7 communes of the departments of the Great South West

  • Construction project of a National Centre for radiotherapy, chemotherapy and nuclear medicine in the town of Port-au-Prince ;

  • Project of support to the reconstruction through the execution of an action plan operational of planning in order to adequately serve the growing sector of Canaan-Jérusalem.
