Haiti - Diplomacy : Four new ambassadors in Haiti

Thursday, March 7, at the National Palace, the President Michel Martelly, received the credentials of four new ambassadors accredited to Port-au-Prince. They are Mrs. Anne Lammila (Finland), Mr. Raùl Juan Pollak Giampietro (Uruguay), Mr. Hasan Servet Öktem (Turkey), and Mr. Tarek Mohey Eldin Elwassimy (Egypt).

The Head of State has warmly welcomed the diplomats assuring them of his willingness to work in close collaboration with them, in order to strengthen ties of friendship and strengthen cooperation relations between Haiti and their country.

The same determination was clearly expressed by the new Ambassadors, who renewed the commitment of their respective country to accompany the President Martelly in his efforts to improve the living conditions of the Haitian people.

The Head of State expressed the hope that the work that will make these new ambassadors, be fruitful both for their country and for the people of Haiti.
