Haiti - Justice : Another success for PNH

Monday, at a press conference, Lucman Délille, the Government Commissioner, announced that several police operations conducted this weekend by the National Police of Haiti (PNH), had resulted in the arrest of twenty individuals [5 Petion-Ville, 11 to Mon Repos 44 (Carrefour) and 4 in Delmas]. These individuals are accused among other of theft, forgery and use of false, idnapping and sexual debauchery, Me indicated Me Délille.

Commending the work of the PNH for this dragnet, the Government Commissioner indicated having been informed that in Mon Repos 44 individuals were engaged in activities of "zokiki" and they had been caught red-handed at the time of their arrests. He also informed that several individuals using uniform of the company Digicel, who pretended to be sellers of "Pap padap" and other for preachers preaching the gospel, to defraud pedestrians, were also arrested, inviting the public to the greatest caution.

"Bal la fini" launched the Commissioner Délille, to the criminals, he invited them to change activities, warning that they will be tracked down until their last stronghold and justice and the police will continue to crack unabated.

The Commissioner has again called for the cooperation of the population, noting that the participation of every citizen in this struggle is essential in order to enable every citizen in the country, go about their business safely.

In addition, several motorcycle taxi drivers were arrested for not having respected the advice of the traffic police, limiting to two the number of passengers that can be transported on a motorcycle.
