On Monday, the President Michel Martelly, accompanied by Philippe Cinéas, State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communication (MTPTC), carried out a visit to monitor the progress of construction work of the Sports Park of Bristou to Peguy Ville. This sports facility which will include among other things, a basketball court and a football field, will have a cloakroom as well as facilities for the practice of martial arts and boxing.

The President then went to Delmas 83, where he walked all along this stretch of 1.2km recently built. This road received funding of the Haitian State to the tune of 77 million gourdes, is the work of the Haitian firm Hervé Lerouge Construction, who made this project in three months.

Thereafter, the Head of State continued its walk from Delmas 83 to Puits Blain, Road of Frère. The construction of this stretch of 4.1 km, which began on February 15, is also funded by the Treasury to the tune of 174 million gourdes. The head of the construction sites indicated that other works of rehabilitation and construction of road infrastructure (30 km) are underway in different areas of the metropolitan area.

Visibly satisfied with these achievements, the President Martelly, accompanied by the Mayor of Delmas, Wilson Jeudy and Philippe Cinéas, also visited the neighborhood of Jacquet Toto, to explore the possibilities of rehabilitating the road. The President took the opportunity to thank the Mayor of Delmas for his work and thanked the officials of the company Hervé Lerouge Construction for the quality of work done "I can only rejoice before these achievements, which will bring great improvement in the lives of the population," declared Michel Martelly.
